Purpose:to describe a particular person, thing, or place. Tujuan: untuk menggambarkan tempat, sesuatu atau orang secara khusus.
Structure: 1)Identification (identifikasi terhadap hal yang akan didiskripsikan) 2) Description (gambaran tentang bagian-bagian, ciri-ciri, ataupun sifat-sifat)
Example:
I am a strange looking animal. I am quite large even though I am not as large as elephant. My colours are black and white. I live in the forest. I am very shy. I have a difficulty to seeing. I sleep in the daytiime and look for food at night. Like a rhino, I am vegetarian and I mainly eat leaves. I have a long nose, but not as long as elephant's trunk.
